In the midst of instruments in a full orchestra,
I am an unsung song.
I was designed with a signature key
Which isn’t the same establishing sounds,
I am an unsung song.
On a theater stage I am a symphony of textures and patterns,
I am an unsung song.
You are trying to figure out the composition
Of the different elements in its sweet melody,
I am an unsung song.
As the audience continues to sway side to side,
Listening to the form of the rhythm of its harmony
Thinking who can this be,
I am an unsung song.
The solo piece is near and all are alert sitting up straight in their chair,
I am the unsung song.
Waiting to see this new sound never once heard before,
Moving closer, sounding stronger and louder,
IT IS ME! I am the song.
